District Veteran Initiative
Overview: Through this initiative, District 6360 will create meaningful pathways for veterans to become connected to local Rotary clubs, participate in hands-on service, and strengthen their community networks. A central feature of the effort is a veteran membership scholarship program that will help remove financial barriers for selected veterans who are interested in joining Rotary and continuing their commitment to service in a new way.
Key Goals:
- Welcome veterans into Rotary as valued members and community leaders.
- Provide membership scholarships for veterans who are ready to serve locally.
- Engage Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact members in service projects that directly support veterans and military families.
- Create opportunities for veterans to use their leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in local and district service projects.
